How does our draw work?

The draw is fully automated: at the date and time chosen by the organiser, our system locks the raffle and only takes into account numbers that were actually sold and paid for — a number that wasn't sold can never be drawn. To pick the winners, we use a cryptographic random number generator (not a standard random function) — the same type of technology used to secure online transactions. Its result is completely unpredictable: impossible to guess, reproduce or influence, even by knowing the exact moment of the draw. The result is calculated once, then saved permanently — it is never recalculated or changed. Every participant can check their result at any time via the personal link they received when buying their ticket, whether they won or not.

Why can't I pick a number anymore in the last few minutes before the draw?

Ticket sales close automatically 5 minutes before the announced draw time. This isn't an arbitrary delay: when a participant reserves a number, it's locked for them while they finish paying. Without this safety margin, someone could reserve a number at the very last second and, unluckily, still be paying at the exact moment of the draw. These 5 minutes guarantee that any reservation in progress has time to go through or expire before the draw starts, so the status of every number is perfectly clear at the decisive moment.

Why doesn't the draw happen exactly at the stated time?

Our system automatically checks, every two minutes, whether a raffle has reached its draw time. The draw may therefore happen with a slight delay — at most a few minutes after the announced time, never before. This guarantees a reliable, controlled process, with no impact on the fairness of the draw: only numbers sold before sales closed take part, whatever the exact moment the calculation happens.

Why isn't the manual draw trigger instant?

Triggering the draw manually doesn't mean running it immediately: for fairness, we first wait a short 5-minute delay so that any number reservation already in progress at the time of the click has time to go through or expire — exactly like a standard automatic draw. Our system then checks, as always, every two minutes whether the draw time has been reached. In total, expect 5 to 7 minutes between your click and the result — a delay that's deliberately short, but never instant, to keep the draw fair for every participant.

Can I change the date and time of my raffle?

Before your raffle goes live (while it's still a draft, before payment), yes: you can change the draw date and time as many times as you need from the creation form. Once your raffle is active and open for sale, however, you can no longer change the draw date or time yourself — this is a deliberate safeguard to protect participants who have already bought a ticket knowing the announced time. If you need to postpone your draw, contact us directly: our team can make that change for you.

Can I increase the size of my grid (the number of numbers) after creating my raffle?

Yes. If your raffle is more successful than expected and you'd like to offer more numbers for sale, contact us: we can enlarge your grid by moving up to the next tier (for example from 1,000 to 2,000 numbers). Numbers already sold or reserved are never affected by this. For fairness, a grid can never be reduced once created.

Can I add or remove prizes after creating my raffle?

You can add extra prizes at any time by contacting us. However, it isn't possible to remove a prize once your raffle is live and open for sale, since the number of prizes is publicly displayed from the moment it's published — participants buy their ticket knowing that number, and reducing it afterwards would be unfair to them.

Can I change the colour of my QR code after creating my raffle?

Yes, at any time: contact us and we'll make the change for you.
